The AMOU in conjunction with the MUA and AIMPE have successfully
concluded an Agreement for the Larcom Bunker Barge working in
Gladstone. We have achieved a momentous increase in the leave
factor from 0.857 to 1 days leave for each day of duty and 5%
annual wage increases. The AIMPE waivered their policy of
AIMPE only Agreements and 1 year duration of Agreements and have
signed a three year deal with us! The Agreement expires on 1 April
2015. The Agreement is currently out for vote, and a copy of the
Agreement can be found in the members section under bunker
barges.
